Format
The three-day training workshop will be structured around: presentations and working group discussions, practical sessions and training sessions.
The first half day will be dedicated to presentations by participants about the state of their library, its needs and challenges which will allow participants to learn more about the work and situation of other parliamentary libraries in Africa. The presentation will help better focus the following discussions/training sessions and promote the creation of a conducive environment for collaboration among peers.
Presentations by trainers and experts will contribute to stimulating the discussions around the challenges that African parliamentary libraries have to address in order to increase and improve the offer of information and research services to members of parliaments.
